DA Anniversary

Today marks the one year anniversary of my time here on deviantART. Heh, it's amazing to imagine that I've actually been here for an entire year, and I still amaze myself with how much has happened over the last 12 months.

There are many things which surprised me about DA. For starters, I never really expected to make any friends here...apart from the occasional 40k fan here and there. I also never expected very many people to find my page in the first place. Heh, I can still remember when I first created my DA account and how excited I was when I received my first fave, and my first watch from my friend :iconwarhammer-fanatic:.

I guess that I should consider myself lucky then; lucky to be blessed by all my close friends here and blessed to be surrounded by so many caring and like-minded individuals. In a way, you guys are like an extended family of mine. I will never be able to thank you guys enough for everything which you've done for me. Heh, I certainly have a lot to be grateful for.

For those of you who live in the United States, I wish you all a safe and pleasant Memorial Day. For everyone else, I hope you enjoy your day, and spend a quick moment or two to count your blessings. Who knows, perhaps there are more things for you to be grateful for than you give credit to.

It has a very curious style to it which portrays the idea that things aren't as clear as you would like them to be. I can see that some of the figures have red eyes and others have blue...but apart from that, there isn't much of a way to tell "who is friend and who is foe." I liked it, and think you should try completing it.
